Red Glasses Rocks in Madrid
We dropped two beautiful Red Glasses Rocks in special spots in Madrid Spain. Our first rock we left in El Retiro Park on a sweet little bridge perfect for little hikers with open hearts. We left our second rock at the foot of the monument of Don Blas de Leo y Olavarrieta in the Plaza de Colon. It was our last night in Spain and it was raining and we just wanted to place another rock. When we got home and researched Blas de Leo we learned that he is known as “half a man” secondary to losing his left eye, arm, and leg in battle. We love how this hero not only represents beloved veterans of the world but also the courageous disabled community.
